- If a user is logged in his/her email address is suggested
- A confirmation mail is send with an activation link - HTML mail or text mail choseable

Nuke Menü vs. 0.2 ist ein zusätzliches Modul, welches erlaubt, eine eigene Navigationsstruktur mit dem PHPNuke zu erstellen. Beschreibung: Bei OpenPHPNuke wurde im Gegensatz zu anderen PHPNuke-Forks die Modularisierung bis in die letzte Spitze des Systems vollzogen worden. Es werden aktuelle Techniken verwendet, um den Sicherheitsanspruch heutiger Internetanwendungen zu erfüllen. So werden zur Userverwaltung und Rechteverwaltung ein Unix ähnliches Rechtesystem verwendet. Für die Programmierung wurden Codestandards geschaffen, in weiten Teilen das HTML an heutige Webstandards angepasst, die Trennung von Content und Layout in die Wege geleitet. Alle Module sind heute schon nach XHTML-Standard validiert. Die in vielen anderen Systemen unterdrückten PHP-Warnings (die zu Lasten des Webservers gehen) werden unter OPN gnadenlos angezeigt und als Bug bezeichnet. Durch das konsequente Ausmerzen dieser Fehlermeldungen gewinnt OPN gehörig an Performance!
