Beschreibung: This is a modification of the 7.0 Your_Account module. Instead of the acount activation emails being sent to the users for approval they are sent to the admin. Then when the admin approves the user the user gets and email telling them they are approved with their username and password. I was looking for something for PHP-Nuke 7.0 and could not find anything so I rolled my own. It has only been tested with 7.0!

Beschreibung: In the quest for a smoothly working Nuke site, I noticed that when users submitted a posting with smilies or other WYSIWYG HTML features, the admin Approving the Submission was seeing only plain text (HTML code other than the minimum - img tags etc-was being stripped). In this zip file is include a new stories.php, which has a WYSIWYG editor for admins approving Submissions. The improved Submit_News file included DOES NOT strip HTML and allows all WYSIWYG features to be successfully posted!

Beschreibung: Weatherharvest BETA v0.7.0 - what's new? Now that I've gotten over killing databases, I've gotten down to some real data collection and a few bugs.
Fixed parsing errors in index.php
Added NOAA BUOY Marine Data for the WORLD! (HUGE addition, pretty cool) There is an initialization table upgrade from 0.5.0 to 0.7.0
Added Weather Summaries - NOAA lists summaries for selected cities throughout the world. This simple routine allows you to see the collected data for those specified regions
Added Canada to the list of weather cities. No radar yet, but it is coming!
Installation Instructions Power users - if you want to upgrade - you can! If you have successfully installed BETA 0.4.0, you may apply WHUpgrade0-4to0-5.sql. If you have successfully installed BETA 0.5.0 you may apply WHUpgrade0-5to0.7.sql.
Apply the rest of the code in it's respective location as with previous installs. Just to be SAFE! The zip file provided is based on a directory structure "/www/phpnuke6.5/...". This is what the development machine is. Future PROD zips will start from "html" under your particular PHPNuke version.
Steps to success:
Unzip and copy files to their correct locations in your PHPNuke site
CHMOD the "modules/WeatherHarvest/cache" directory to 777
Apply the WeatherHarvest0-7.sql file AND WeatherHarvestMORE0-7.sql. It is applied through the mySQL command line or through an admin tool such as phpMyAdmin. This file will wipe old databases, and create new ones.
IMPORTANT: Before activating your block and module, you must go through your admin panel and set up your defaults in the initialization table. All paths are based on "root" and must have a trailing '/' You'll receive errors if they are entered wrong. Your cache paths from "root" should all be the same. If you are a power user, you can set up a seperate cache path for radar images.
Note: Cache timeout is for cleanup and regeneration of data files. NOAA typically updates every 30 minutes unless a significant event is taking place.
HTTP protocol is the preferred. If you choose FTP, you could experience a "slow" site. I give you the lodaed gun - use it wisely!
Once you have successfully saved your initialization data, activate your block and module. You may place the module in your "links" block, as it now has menu options for users.
At this time, you may want to set up your default site city. You perform this through the admin panel.
A quick note about root paths Keep in mind that the root path of an Operating System and the root path of PHPNuke are very different things. When trying to find the root path of your hosting Operating System, you need to telnet to the system, change directories to '/' ('' for Windows systems), and then progress until you are back at your sites home directory. The root directory of your PHPNuke install will minimally be the home directory of your site (where you are when you first log-in to your telnet session). I know this can be confusing, and it's certainly not easy to explain - but it makes a HUGE difference in your ability to read/write to various directories in your site path. Submit News Enhanced vs. 1.0
Beschreibung: The Submit News Module adds Error Controls to the Article Submission process. This gets rid of those annoying No Topic & Titleless Submissions. The textarea's are larger, the layout is wrapped in tables, and the error functions check for no Title, no Topic and no Storytext content. The fields will show up red in the 'Preview Article' function if one of the fields is missing.
If for some reason the submitter still does not notice his/her Error, the script stops the Submission, tells the Submitter their Error, and provides them a Go Back link to fix it!

The very short answer is that it is the protocol by which a lot of PC-related machines share files and printers and other informatiuon such as lists of available files and printers. Operating systems that support this natively include Windows NT, OS/2, and Linux and add on packages that achieve the same thing are available for DOS, Windows, VMS, Unix of all kinds, MVS, and more. Apple Macs and some Web Browsers can speak this protocol as well. Alternatives to SMB include Netware, NFS, Appletalk, Banyan Vines, Decnet etc; many of these have advantages but none are both public specifications and widely implemented in desktop machines by default!

- According with the email number 213080 to Dave Turner (GPL Compliance Engineer) from the Free Software Foundation, the copyright notices of PHP-Nuke has been changed in order to be 100% compliant with the GPL license section 2(c). This copyright notices can't be removed and the Commercial License becomes 100% compliant with the GPL license. Hope this is the end of the story for the people that doesn't understand a bit of the GPL. Again, if you want to legaly remove the copyright notices from PHP-Nuke generated pages you must purchase the Commercial License, see
http://phpnuke.org/modules.php?name=Commercial_License for more details and stop complaining about this issue, the Commercial License is legal, GPL compliant and approved by the Free Software Foundation. End of story.
- Fixed administrator edit function that didn't show the authorized modules to administer. (Thanks to jaggura from http://www.whereiroost.com)
- Added FireFox (http://firefox.com) browser support for site's counter that will show in Statistics module.
- Added RSS feed support for FireFox browser's Live Bookmarks.
- By popular demand and to avoid some administration system non-authorized entries attempts, now you can just rename the file admin.php to whatever_you_want.php and set the name in config.php file. Doing this nobody knows what's your administration filename. Additionaly a new method of URL redirection has been added to hide the referer when you click on a link inside administration system. If you have old administration modules not compatible with this new system you'll get "Access Denied" message. If this is the case, leave the admin.php file with its original name while you modify the modules or get a new compatible version of it.
- Added a new folder called /includes/custom_files where, if exists the files custom_mainfile.php, custom_header.php and custom_footer.php they will be included from mainfile.php, header.php and/or footer.php respectively. Also the file /includes/my_header.php has been removed and added the new /includes/custom_files/custom_head.php for anything that should be between and html tags in the code. With this feature will be more easy to update a site without lost your custom changes. These files will not be shipped with PHP-Nuke to avoid possible overwritting when updating the code. PHPNuke 7.0 Final Security-Patch/Fixes
Beschreibung: After quite some time since the last sec-fix patch release here is the newest one, it was made with PHP-Nuke 7.0 Final as its base although some of the items covered might apply to older versions. As usual this sec-fix patch comes with detailed instructions on how to apply the changes manually for those with modified core files, users of PHP-Nuke 7.0 without heavy modifications can simply upload the included files, else, and if using older versions of PHP-Nuke, you can follow the instructions in fixchanges.txt to patch your site and/or check if the fixes apply to your current version.
The included files are core 7.0 final files with the fixes applied and as such differ from those offered in PHP-Nuke Patched in that the abstraction layer is the same one used on the core files by default:
1-mainfile.php includes a $grp variable that is not used.
2-Missing $sitename variable in Downloads admin section.
3-Duplicate sql query in Downloads admin section.
4-$ThemeSel variable not defined in downloads admin.
5-Incorrect use of $module_name in Downloads admin.
6-Missing $dbi call in Encyclopedia admin section.
7-$ThemeSel variable not defined in links admin.
8-Incorrect use of $module_name in Links admin.
9-Missing globals in LinksAddLink op.
10-Incorrect fetchrow call in block-Forums.php.
11-Missing globals in Avantgo module.
12-Incorrect fetchrow call in Encyclopedia module.
13-Incorrect fetchrow call in News module.
14-Missing global in Your_Account module.
15-Duplicate sql query in Downloads module.
16-Merged lines in Web_Links module.
17-Merged lines in Downloads module.
18-Incorrect block filename in block-User_Info.php.
19-Incorrect variable number in Web_Links module.
20-Missing $result variable in Your_Account module.
21-Incorrect datestring in spanish language file!

PHPNuke 6.9 Yahoo WebHosting FIX
Beschreibung: PHP-Nuke 6.9 running on Yahoo WebHosting - Forum and Members List FIX. This fix applies to PHP-Nuke 6.9 (and possibly 6.5-6.8). The problem that was occuring was that clicking on the Forums and Members List from the home page would lead to a 'Save To Disk' dialog or a blank forum screen in Internet Explorer and a blank forum screen in Mozilla 1.x. This fix disables gzip compression in mainfile.php and fixes config.php in html/modules/forums/ by commenting out a mistaken call to mainfile.php. Once you apply this fix, your PHP-Nuke 6.9 website running on Yahoo Webhosting will be 100% operational!
